Co founded by Matt and Tom, Intelligent Electrical was established in 2022 by 2 friends after years of working together.
Now the company led up by managing director Matt Jones, offering exiting opportunities for the next generation of electricians.
Our Story
Chef turned electrician, Matt Jones worked his way though the hospitality industry for many years, working in some of the best rated restaurants and hotels in chester.
By the the age of 21 Matt became frustrated within the industry and wanted a new challenge, he put himself through college in Deeside full time whilst working at 2 different restaurants.
Luck would have it, a few months in, a close friend started his own company and gave Matt a chance to work for him and gain experience, this company became 'Firesec' and Matt worked there for many years.
All the hard work paid off and Matt became qualified with straight distinctions, soon moving to another local electrical company.
Desperate to learn more and more, Matt threw himself into his work and gained priceless experience working on high end projects around the Northwest.
Clearly that wasn't enough and Matt went self employed to push himself further, gaining his 2391 qualification and becoming NAPIT accredited, he began to build a reputable business.
As the industry is ever changing with technology, the smart home industry seemed the best target area to push into next. Matt achieved his KNX basic partner qualification, BFT automation training, Hikvision course and HDANYWHERE along with Art of smarts custom training course.
With this vast amount of knowledge and passion, Intelligent Electrical was born...
